Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your Digital Larynx subscription at any time.

  • How to Cancel: You can cancel your subscription directly through the “Settings” menu within the Digital Larynx application or by accessing the Stripe Customer Portal via the link in your billing emails.
  • Effect of Cancellation: When you cancel, you are cancelling the automatic renewal of your subscription. You will retain access to your paid tier features and remaining credits until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • No Partial Refunds: We do not offer refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods.

2. Refund Policy

Because Digital Larynx incurs immediate costs from third-party AI providers (ElevenLabs and OpenAI) whenever you generate audio or analyze images, we maintain a strict refund policy to prevent abuse.

A. The “Good Faith” Window

We offer a 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee on your first subscription payment, provided that you meet the following usage criteria:

  1. You have submitted the request within 7 days of the initial charge.
  2. You have used less than 2,000 Credits during this period.

If you have consumed a significant portion of your monthly credit allotment, you are not eligible for a refund, as the service has been rendered and costs have been incurred on our behalf.

B. Technical Issues

If you are unable to use Digital Larynx due to a technical defect or incompatibility with your specific hardware (e.g., the overlay fails to capture on your OS version), you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Please contact support with a description of the issue.

C. Non-Refundable Items

The following purchases are final and non-refundable:

  • One-Time Credit Top-Ups: Any additional credit packs purchased outside of your recurring subscription are final.
  • Director’s Cut Voice Packs: Downloadable content (DLC) is non-refundable once the download has been initiated.

3. Handling of Credits upon Cancellation

Digital Larynx operates on a “use it or lose it” credit model.

  • Active Subscriptions: Unused credits generally reset at the start of each new billing month. They do not roll over unless explicitly stated in a specific promotional offer.
  • Downgrading to Free: If you cancel your subscription and downgrade to the Free Tier, any remaining credits will expire at the end of your paid billing cycle. You cannot carry paid credits over to a Free account.

4. Changes to Price and Tiers

We reserve the right to adjust pricing for our service or any components thereof in any manner and at any time. Any price changes will take effect following email notice to you and will apply to your next billing cycle.
